Aspire is thrilled to announce Eva Muiruri as the new Senior Director of Program Operations in Maryland. Eva brings many years of experience leading services leading services for developmental disabilities and behavioral health. Her previous roles include Assistant Executive Director and Director of Quality Assurance for an agency serving more than 200 adults and children. She holds a bachelor’s degree in counseling and is currently completing a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. 

Eva is a great fit for Aspire’s mission. Her person-centered commitment to people with disabilities and the workforce shines through her accomplishments. She leads with compassion. She solves problems in partnership with others. She focuses on innovations that create new opportunities and the best use of resources. 

“I’m so excited that Eva is joining the team. The entire executive team was so impressed, not just with her qualifications, but with her approach to leadership. She has the right balance to be a champion for Maryland and a strong voice for all of Aspire, too,” said Rebecca Hamilton, Chief of Adult Services. 

Eva builds community outside of work as well. Her contributions include membership in the African Affairs Advisory Group Montgomery County, Student Ambassador at Capella University, Parent Representative for the National Association of the Advancement of Colored People Montgomery County, and Vice President of her homeowners’ association.
