Aspire Living & Learning is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Financial Associate responsible for the timely and accurate processing of individual funds and related functions. This position will work closely with the Individual Funds Senior Finance Associate, contributing to the oversight of individual funds activities, maintenance of petty cash and grocery funds, and administering financial policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

  • Work alongside the Individual Funds Senior Finance Associate, providing assistance in overseeing individual funds activities.
  • Maintain petty cash and grocery funds, ensuring adherence to financial policies and procedures.
  • Play a fundamental role in preparing Rate Adjustment/Rate Appeal (DSS) correspondence in conjunction with the Finance Director.
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of all related paperwork and reports.
  • Ability to navigate through various software applications with appropriate training.
  • Weekly processing of funded grocery and petty cash accounts using a debit card portal.
  • Administer policies and procedures applicable to supported individuals' finances.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external networks, resources, and state/federal funding agencies as needed.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Aspire Living & Learning and funding agency regulations applicable to the use of supported individuals' funds and related documentation.
  • Knowledge of housing assistance, food stamp application, and Social Security Administration/Rep Payee processes.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with excellent follow-through.
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel and Word, with a good grasp of learning new software applications.
  • Previous similar or financial institution experience required.
  • Associate's degree in administration/management or equivalent experience.
