Community Participation

Communities are stronger when people realize their passions, potential, and power. Within Aspire Living & Learning’s programs, we help neurodiverse adults do just that.

Aspire provides community-based day and vocational services in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, and New Hampshire to support people with disabilities to fully engage with their communities.

Community-Based Day Supports (CBDS) and Meaningful Day Programs

Everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive in their community. Through a wide range of meaningful activities, Aspire works with people to pursue their passions, make choices about their development, explore their community, and build connections. Activities include:

Support for Employment: We provide personalized support to help you find and maintain a job that matches your interests and skills, giving you the tools and resources needed for success.
Volunteer Opportunities: Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community and develop new skills. We help you find volunteer roles that align with your passions and abilities.
Social Connections: Building strong social networks is essential for a fulfilling life. Day programs at Aspire include activities and events that encourage making new friends and strengthening existing relationships.
Communication: Effective communication is key to personal and professional growth. We offer support to help you enhance your communication skills, enabling you to express yourself confidently.
Functional Skills: Whether it’s mastering daily living tasks or learning advanced skills, we’re here to support you in developing the functional abilities you need to lead an independent and self-directed life.
