As Aspire Living & Learning looks to the future, strong leadership and new perspectives are essential to preparing for what’s ahead.
That’s why Aspire is pleased to welcome John Flynn, a healthcare and organizational transformation leader, to its Board of Directors. John brings extensive experience helping organizations navigate complexity, strengthen operations and lead through change.
His experience will support Aspire as we continue to strengthen partnerships across behavioral health, education and disability services. It will also help us explore new opportunities to meet the evolving needs of people with disabilities and their families.
Bringing Healthcare and Transformation Experience to Aspire
John currently serves on the leadership team at UConn Health. Previously, he held leadership roles at Mass General Brigham and CareCentrix.
Throughout his career, John has led organizational transformation, operational improvement and growth initiatives. His experience spans healthcare, nonprofit, government and mission-driven organizations.

Strengthening Aspire’s Board for the Future
John’s experience will also bring an important perspective to Aspire’s Board as the organization prepares for the future.

His insight will strengthen our Board as Aspire continues expanding its impact across the communities we serve.”
John earned a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and an MBA from the Yale School of Management. He is an advocate for autism and neurodiversity and lives in West Hartford, Connecticut, with his wife and three children.
