At Aspire Living & Learning, growth means listening to what people need and creating new opportunities for neurodiverse children and adults to thrive. As the landscape of human services and education shifts, families are seeking stronger options, schools are under pressure, and state systems need reliable partners. Aspire is responding with innovation and resilience.
That is why we are excited to welcome Monica DeNeale, Sky Barsch, and Jennifer Krzykowski to our Board of Directors. Each of these leaders brings not only deep professional expertise but also a strong connection to Aspire’s mission of inclusive, person-centered support.
Monica DeNeale serves as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of ORBCOMM, where she oversees global ethics, compliance, and corporate governance. With more than 20 years of legal leadership at organizations such as Granicus and Hitachi Vantara, Monica’s insight will help Aspire strengthen its foundation while expanding services across our regions.
Sky Barsch, Chief Executive Officer of VTDigger, leads Vermont’s nonprofit newsroom and has built a career on creating sustainable organizations that foster belonging. Previously, she founded Alpenglow Fitness, a Montpelier studio grounded in connection and community. Sky’s dedication to inclusion is also personal. Her brother Shane, who has disabilities, has shaped her lifelong commitment to equity and opportunity.
Jennifer Krzykowski is a Clinical Care Manager and Team Leader at Advanced Behavioral Health, Inc. For more than two decades, she has supported individuals and led clinical teams in care coordination, counseling, and substance use treatment. Jennifer’s experience will guide Aspire as we expand behavioral health services and strengthen supports in the community.
Board Chair Katie Franco explained that when Aspire looks for new members, the Board seeks leaders who not only bring expertise but also align deeply with the organization’s mission. “Monica, Sky, and Jennifer bring both,” she said, adding that their experience will strengthen the Board’s ability to guide Aspire through growth with clarity and accountability.
“Aspire is in a moment of growth and possibility,” said Erica Hare, CEO of Aspire. “These three accomplished leaders bring the expertise and values we need to strengthen our programs and prepare for the future. Their leadership will help us continue to create services that are resilient, responsive, and person-centered.”
